LockBox Pro App Reviews

I never had a problem exporting my data from LockBox Pro. But I bought a new phone and could not import the data back in (I read all the forums; I tried everything). Finally, I re-typed it all back in. Then my new phone had a hardware problem and I needed to replace it after the first week. Again, LockBox Pro would not import data in. Thats when I deleted the app. Ill never waste my time like that again.

After upgrading my iPhone 4 to iOS6 the LockBox Pro import/export function does not work. Import/export worked fine under iOS5. Will a fix be published? And if so, when?

This app has just recently become a nightmare! I had to manually transfer my passwords from my ipod to my iPhone 4S. After I did, I went back into Lockbow to look a password only to find that everything, including the categories had been tranformed to some form of jibberish! I cant make heads or tails out of diddly squat! I am TICKED! DO NOT BUY THIS APP!!!

I love the app. What I dont like is that there is no way to communicate with them to offer sigestions to help make the app better, or more versitle. Suggesdtion like if you have along string of characters to enter could the font size adjust down so it can be viewd on the main screen, or be able to insert a return into a field to accomidatete a paragraph?

Ive used LockBox free for some time, but wanted to update to Pro to get rid of the ads. Fail. The import function did not work to add all of my account information to the Pro version. There was information in the support docs on issues with the recent iOS update, but this was not the cause. For whatever reason only the one of my accounts is importing (the last on my long list of credentials) and strange characters are being added to the end of every data field. Upon seeking support from the developer I was unable to find any way to contact them. Refund my $2.99 as soon a humanly possible.

Ive been using LockBox for a couple of years now. I just purchased an iPad, and wanted to export from my iPhone to the new device. I upgraded to LockBox Pro in order to gain the import capability. Unfortunately, the screens are identical to the non-pro version, with no obvious way to import files from the lite version. Online documentation (once I finally found it) is no help - it shows different screens than Im seeing. Support website doesnt seem to have been updated since 2010 - app itself hasnt been updated since 2011.

i originally had the free version. i upgraded iphones and wanted to import my data to save from re-typing everything. so, i exported everything via the wifi backup method and purchased the pro version to import to my new phone. however, like the previous reviewer, i find that the import/export page is the same as the free version and has no import option. can this be fixed asap? otherwise, it seems like i paid for upgrade to the pro version without actually getting the pro features...

The pro is not up to date. My passwords just disappeared and now I cant import my data from the computer to my iPhone. Was happy with the app before what happened with this app now????

Ive loved the Free app for years. I just bought the Pro version when I upgraded to iPhone 5, but it took quite a while to figure out how to transfer my data. Its nice not having ads on the Pro, but theres a big white space on the Pro screen where they would normally appear on the Free version screen. All-in-all, I think the Pro version is too pricey for the minimally added features. Do appreciate having Lockbox though, so thanks.

Do not buy this app. The free app is great the pay features do not work on the pro. Will not import from computer. Absolute trash

App will not update to 1.3. Can no longer backup data, which essentially makes it useless.

For years now since Ive had this app the ONLY issue I had was that anytime I got a new iPhone and opened the app all of my data was gone AND it never allowed me to get to the export/import screen on the web browser. I had to write down all the info before switching phones and THEN type ALL of the data back into the new phone (HATED that, lol). But NOW for the FIRST TIME EVER when upgrading to my iPhone 5 I was able to get the export/import screen on the web browser. Tried both exporting and importing and they worked although I guess switching from one phone to another will still lose my data as Ive read. The GOOD thing is that all I have to do is import the data that I previously exported. So basically YES it works, lol.

Its amazing ive been using this app since its first started, i lost my phone so i bought a new one downloaded everything perfectly from icloud i went back to open my lockbox pro app, and i see a bunch of rows with no info, basically i lost all my info of the app. Its sad to know that i was proud of the app

just noticed my lockbox app changed all my passwords into a weird unreadable code/language...does anyone know how to fix this??? Im so upset!!!!!!! please help!!!!

Does not work for importing and that is the only reason it was bought. Refund my money!

Company no longer exists! Backup function (only reason to pay) no longer works! Why is Apple still selling this app??

All data lost upon transfer to new device with no way to get it back. When you have trusted an app to hold so much of your sensitive information this is worse than losing your wallet. I dont even know where to start recreating all the passwords, account numbers, safe combinations, etc., etc., etc. VERY UPSET AND DISAPPOINTED. AVOID THIS APP.!!!

Unable to export my data now so how will I be able to save it so I can import it to a new phone. This function use to work, very disappointing

Havent got an update since I downloaded this app in 2012, its 2014 where is the update????

Ive been using Pro for several years. Its great for tracking all my various and sundry passwords and other secure information, but I just got a new iPhone and need to my data from the old phone. I cannot access the export website. Ive tried it several times using 2 different browsers. On a Win7 device. I guess Im left to manually transferring all that data and looking for another app.
